The Bengal Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, which will be released soon in the United States, has already received a strong, and often polarized, reaction from the Indian American community.
The movie, which is part of “The Files” trilogy, focuses on the communal violence and historical events of 1946 Bengal. Early screenings have sparked a debate, especially on social media and within the Indian American community.
