Saritha Komatireddy flags rising NY assaults, calls for action

Republican attorney general candidate Saritha Komatireddy has raised fresh concerns over public safety in New York, citing a recent assault incident to highlight what she described as a growing pattern of violence and lack of accountability, and calling for stronger legal action.

Komatireddy took to X and posted a video of herself addressing an incident in which a 4-year-old Jewish boy was pushed to the ground in Monsey last week, which she described as an assault.
