Representative Shri Thanedar, a Democrat representing Michigan's 13th Congressional district, has disclosed a notable financial milestone in his bid for reelection. As of April 10, he reported a substantial cash-at-hand amounting to US$5,100,462 to support his bid for another term in office.
In addition to his fundraising success, Representative Thanedar has secured over 15 endorsements from influential elected officials and organizations. Notable among these are the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest LGBTQ+ advocacy organization, which recognizes his dedication to equality and civil rights. Additionally, the Laborers' International Union of North America (LiUNA), representing over half a million workers, stands behind him for his advocacy for working families and labor rights. Moreover, the Michigan Education Association (MEA), with over 120,000 members, endorses him for his support for public education and educators in the state.
