USISPF to host 2026 Leadership Summit in Washington
The summit will mark the U.S. 250th anniversary while focusing on expanding U.S.-India economic and strategic cooperation.

The U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) announced that its IX Leadership Summit will be held on June 29, in Washington, D.C., bringing together leaders from government, industry, and policy to advance bilateral engagement.
The summit is themed “America At 250” as it coincides with the United States’ 250th anniversary of independence.

USISPF said the event will convene policymakers, diplomats, scholars, industry leaders, and members of the media “to deepen the U.S.-India strategic partnership at a pivotal moment in global affairs.”

Three global business leaders will be conferred the USISPF Global Leadership Award for their contributions to strengthening economic and strategic ties between the United States, India, and Canada.
The honorees are Christopher T. Calio, chairman and CEO of RTX; Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman of Bharti Enterprises; and V. Prem Watsa, chairman and CEO of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited.
The 2025 edition in Washington featured senior U.S. officials and focused on expanding bilateral trade, including efforts aligned with a long-term target of $500 billion in trade between the two countries.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., USISPF is an independent non-profit platform that works to strengthen U.S.-India ties by bridging business and government stakeholders across sectors.
The forum engages more than 400 global companies and focuses on advancing trade, policy advocacy, innovation, and job creation between the two countries.
This year, USISPF served as an official partner of the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi and leading one of the largest U.S. industry delegations to the event, underscoring the increasing centrality of technology collaboration in bilateral ties.
