India and its Diaspora: Partners in Progress / Indiaspora

A new report by Indiaspora finds that generational change is reshaping how the Indian diaspora engages with India, with younger members seeking structured, professional pathways rather than relying on inherited cultural ties alone.

Titled ‘India and its Diaspora: Partners in Progress,’ the March 2026 report draws on a survey of more than 200 diaspora members across 24 countries, inputs from 50 Indian nonprofits, and discussions with over 40 leaders across 12 countries.
