The upcoming episode will examine the professional partnership between Priyanka and Acharia, who has played a central role in managing and shaping Priyanka’s global career.
Acharia is the founder and chief executive officer of A-Series Investments and Management and has backed several U.S.-based startups, including ClassPass and Bumble.
The conversation also looks at the business decisions behind Priyanka’s expansion from Indian cinema into Hollywood and international brand partnerships.
The recording took place on the sidelines of the annual Harvard India Conference, one of the largest student-led forums in the United States focused on India and the South Asian diaspora.
Priyanka was among the headline speakers at the conference, where she spoke about representation, South Asian achievement, and her own journey to international prominence, while acknowledging the role of earlier South Asian and Indian artists in opening doors in Hollywood.
In addition to the episode with Priyanka and Acharia, Shah also hosted a live podcast recording with Ananya Birla as the conference’s opening keynote session. That discussion focused on Birla’s work across music and business and was presented to a live audience in Cambridge.
Shah, a Harvard alumna, founded South Asian Trailblazers in 2020. Since its launch, the podcast has featured interviews with more than 80 leaders, including Fortune 500 executives, lawmakers, founders, and cultural figures.
The platform reports audiences across more than 140 countries and is known for long-form, narrative-driven conversations.
The episode featuring Priyanka and Acharia is expected to be released in the coming days, with early access available to subscribers across major podcast platforms.
