Cleveland gala to celebrate Hindu community’s contributions

The event will feature Jeffrey Armstrong, also known as Kavindra Rishi, as the keynote speaker.

A community gala will be organised in the US city of Cleveland on Aug. 22 to celebrate the Hindu community’resilience, achievements and contributions.

The Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA),  a grassroots-level organisation that strives to represent the collective voices of Hindus in North America, is organising the event.

The event will feature Jeffrey Armstrong, also known as Kavindra Rishi, as the keynote speaker. Armstrong is a best-selling author, linguist, philosopher and poet.

His address is expected to focus on the importance of community, cultural heritage and the role of Hindu Americans in shaping the future of their communities.

The gala will also include cultural performances, networking opportunities and dinner, offering attendees an opportunity to connect with fellow community members and celebrate the community's accomplishments.

“Join CoHNA's Cleveland Community Gala to celebrate the resilience and contributions of our Hindu community,” the organization said in a post on X.

 



Organizers said the evening is intended not only to recognize what the Hindu community has achieved but also to look toward what it can accomplish together in the future.

CoHNA has described itself as a grassroots organization working to represent Hindu voices in North America and promote greater awareness and understanding of Hindu traditions and community concerns.
