Kalyani Ramadurgam, the Indian-origin co-founder of Kobalt Labs has made it to the Forbes 30-Under-30 United States List for 2026 in the finance category.
Kobalt Labs is a New York-based AI startup founded in 2023 by Kalyani Ramadurgam and Ashi Agrawal, offering an AI copilot that automates risk management, compliance, and third-party due diligence for banks and fintechs.The company recently made headlines after raising $13 million in funding.

Ramadurgam, along with co-founder Ashi Agrawal, founded the AI copmany in 2023 and has since been hired by over 20 customers, including Celtic Bank and Bilt.
She has previously worked at Apple and it was while working at Apple that she recognized the potential for Kobalt Labs.
Talking about the company, Forbes noted, "Kobalt's AI models sort through mountains of documents to help banks vet their business partners, ensuring they're following the rules, like halting money transfers from sanctioned countries and promptly disclosing security breaches."
