Indian American physician and entrepreneur Dr. Kali P. Chaudhary has said his pursuit of the long-abandoned Oceanwide Plaza development in downtown Los Angeles is driven by a desire to create a lasting symbol of India in the heart of one of America's biggest cities.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, Chaudhary said he wants the redeveloped project, which he plans to rename KPC Square, to stand as a tribute to both the opportunities he found in the United States and his Indian roots.
