Indian-origin Stanford students run country's first space law journal

Indian-origin students Radhey Soundarya Gnanesh and Ruchira Naik are among the founding members of the Stanford Space Law Society (SSLS), the student group behind ‘Stanford Space Law & Policy Perspectives’, a new journal dedicated to legal and policy questions surrounding space exploration. 

The journal, launched on Aug. 22, 2025, by Stanford Law School, is described by the university as a first-of-its-kind student-run publication at the intersection of law, technology, and outer space governance.
