Indian-origin man in UK jailed for 14 years for rape charges

Navroop Singh, a 24-year-old man of Indian origin from Mellow Lane East, UK has been sentenced to a minimum of 14 years in prison for a series of serious sexual offences and firearm-related charges. The sentencing took place at Isleworth Crown Court on July 3.
Singh was found guilty of attempting to rape a woman in Southall Park in October 2024, and of possessing an imitation firearm during the attack. The conviction followed a four-day trial.
