The American Express Travel revealed its annual Trending Destinations list, highlighting the 10 must-visit places for 2026. The majestic Himalayas of India have topped the list, making it the most exciting travel destination for tourists.
The 2026 Trending Destinations list highlights a mix of hidden gems and timeless favorites, perfect for travelers seeking everything from nature escapes and vibrant city adventures to deep cultural immersion and everything in between.
The Indian Himalayas take the pole position, beating competition in a list that boasts of names like, Killarney in Ireland, Las Vegas in Nevada, Marrakech in Morocco, Marbella in Spain, the Okinawa Islands in Japan, Panama City in Panama, the Papagayo Peninsula in Costa Rica, the San Juan Mountains in Colorado, and St. Julian’s in Malta.
