Indian Americans favor Biden over Trump, reveals Carnegie survey
When asked which president handled US-India relations better, 34 percent of respondents named Joe Biden, while 28 percent preferred Donald Trump.

Indian Americans believe the Joe Biden administration managed US-India relations effectively over its four-year term but remain divided on what a second Donald Trump presidency could mean for bilateral ties, according to a new survey by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
The survey titled, Foreign Policy Attitudes of Indian Americans: 2024 Survey Results, found that 48 percent of respondents approve of Biden’s handling of US-India relations, compared to 33 percent who had approved of Trump’s approach at the end of his first term. When asked which president handled US-India relations better, 34 percent of respondents named Biden, while 28 percent preferred Trump. A significant portion, 26 percent, felt both performed about the same.
