Maryland-based Aledade, the nation’s largest network of independent primary care practices, has announced the appointment of Lalith Vadlamannati, Ph.D., as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With more than 20 years of experience driving technology innovation across health tech, eCommerce, and supply chain industries, Vadlamannati will lead Aledade’s technology strategy and accelerate the development of tools that enhance clinician satisfaction and improve patient outcomes.
Vadlamannati will report directly to Aledade co-founder and CEO, Farzad Mostashari, M.D.
“Lalith’s extensive experience as a technology leader and his groundbreaking work in AI-driven health care solutions make him the perfect fit to guide our tech vision moving forward,” said Mostashari. “His experience and insights will be critical to helping Aledade advance our mission to transform health care that is good for patients, primary care partners and society as a whole.”
Aledade’s platform has earned high marks across the industry, including a Best in KLAS designation. According to company data, 88 percent of current partners rate Aledade’s products and services as high quality.
Vadlamannati joins Aledade from Hinge Health, where he served as CTO and led advancements in AI-powered musculoskeletal care through wearable technologies and personalized solutions. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Engineering at Amazon, where he oversaw the international expansion of the company’s eCommerce platforms and led large-scale AI and machine learning initiatives across India and other emerging markets.

Vadlamannati holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
