ZEE5 Global is expanding its presence across the United States and Canada under the leadership of Harish Goyal, who oversees the company’s media and entertainment operations in the region.
Goyal currently serves as head of media and entertainment, Americas, and CEO and managing director of health and wellness at ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. In his role, he leads the growth and operations of ZEE’s linear television portfolio and ZEE5 Global across the U.S. and Canadian markets.

The streaming platform highlighted Goyal’s role in driving audience growth, strengthening partnerships and expanding business opportunities across North America as part of its broader growth strategy.
According to the company, Goyal has focused on market-led strategies aimed at expanding audiences and deepening consumer engagement. He has also overseen efforts to strengthen distribution networks and build long-term partnerships to support the company’s growth in the region.
In addition to his responsibilities in media and entertainment, Goyal leads the company’s health and wellness business, where he is responsible for driving initiatives focused on long-term and scalable growth opportunities.
With more than 20 years of experience across media and entertainment, telecommunications, infrastructure, health and wellness, and consumer electronics, Goyal has held leadership roles in several global organizations. Before taking on his current position, he served as CEO for Asia Pacific and Africa at ZEE Entertainment Enterprises, helping drive market expansion, product launches and business transformation initiatives.
His professional experience also includes senior positions at Indus Towers, Times of India Group and Bharti Group.
