Today, while the global narrative around artificial intelligence is often dominated by fears of job displacement, the Wadhwani Foundation is actively spearheading the use of AI for philanthropy, economic empowerment and job creation.
Founded in 2000 by renowned Silicon Valley entrepreneur Dr. Romesh Wadhwani to address a critical challenge faced by emerging economies: how to create jobs at scale and equip people with the skills to fill them, from its inception, the Foundation recognized that solving the employment crisis requires an interconnected approach rather than isolated programmes.
