In a media release, the Edmonton Police Service said it received reports of gunshots at about 1:43 a.m. on Dec. 12 in the area of 32 Street and 26 Avenue. Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds upon arrival.
Police attempted life-saving measures until emergency medical services reached the scene, but both men were pronounced dead there. The Edmonton Police Service Homicide Section has taken over the investigation. Autopsies are scheduled for Dec. 16 and Dec. 17, 2025.
Investigators are searching for a dark-colored SUV that may have been in the area at the time of the shooting.
