Diwali at Times Square set to take place on Nov.9

After being rescheduled from October 12 due to weather, the festival returns on November 9 with international artists, traditional dances, and the iconic Diya Lighting Countdown at the One Times Square Tower.
The milestone year kicked off with the Diwali Awards & Gala Dinner at Tribeca Rooftop 360, honoring Indian Americans making a mark in philanthropy, medicine, innovation, and entertainment. Honorees include Hemanth Paranji, Maneet Ahuja, the Akshaya Patra Foundation, Sparsh Shah, Chef Hemant Mathur, Dr. Sripad H. Dhawlikar, Ruma Devi, and Sarina Jain.
The celebration will feature live performances by Malkit Singh, Raja Kumari, Anjana Padmanabhan, and Vaibhav Gupta, along with the Diwali Bazaar, Colors of India Cultural Showcase, and the Light Up Times Square Concert. The night culminates with the Diya Lighting Ceremony and Countdown at the iconic Ball Drop Tower, bringing communities together through light, music, and tradition.
