Sumit ‘Sam’ Salia, a US Army veteran, is running for an at-large seat on the Jersey City Public Schools Board of Education. He will be on the general election ballot on November 4, 2025.

Salia’s campaign is laser-focused on bringing accountability, transparency, and infrastructure modernization to the school district. His core commitment is to ensure every tax dollar is spent wisely to directly improve the learning environment for every student in Jersey City.
