Pan IIM Alumni conference hosted in NY

IIM Americas in partnership with the Consulate General of India, New York, organized the Pan IIM Alumni Conference on May 9, in New York.
The alumni gathering brought together distinguished leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, innovators and alumni from the IIM community across the United States.
The inaugural address for the event was delivered by the Consul General of India in New York, Binaya Srikanta Pradhan.
CGI Pradhan highlighted the important role of IIM alumni in strengthening the India–U.S. partnership, particularly in the areas of technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and investment, the Consulate General noted on X.
The conference also featured special remarks by Sonjoy Chatterjee, Chairman and CEO at Goldman Sachs India Securities Private Limited. Chatterjee is 1994 alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Tyagarajan studied at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad between 1983 and 1985 and then went on to start the global professional services tech firm.

The programme also included panel discussions on entrepreneurship, AI, investment, business transformation and leadership, featuring several distinguished speakers from the fields of business, technology and innovation.
The New York event comes a week after IIM Americas organized Pinnacle 2026, the annual conference hosted by IIM Americas in San Francisco. The May 2 event was themed “Navigating a Complex, Uncertain World,” and was attended by the likes of Consul General of India in San Francisco, K. Srikar Reddy, and Matic Robots Cofounder & CEO Navneet Dalal.
IIM Americas is a tax-exempt 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization. It stands as a pan-IIM alumni association representing over 10,000 alumni across the Americas from the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
