Single Papa Season 2 / Netflix
Netflix renewed its Hindi-language series Single Papa for a second season following its performance on the platform’s global and domestic charts.
The series spent two weeks on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows list and reached the No. 1 position in India, according to data cited by the platform.

Single Papa, starring Kunal Kemmu as Gaurav Gehlot, centers on a single father navigating parenthood and family life. Netflix said the show also received acknowledgment from the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) of India for its depiction of the adoption process.
Tanya Bami, series head at Netflix India, said the renewal decision followed the show’s viewership performance. She said the series had generated audience engagement around themes of parenting and adoption and had remained on the global chart for two weeks after release.
Executive producer Shashank Khaitan said the series was developed as a continuing narrative and that a second season would extend the storyline of the Gehlot family.
“Single Papa was always conceived as a long-form, family-first story that could grow with its characters,” he said, adding that the new season would further explore the family’s relationships and challenges.
The cast includes Prajakta Koli, Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza, Neha Dhupia, Suhail Nayyar, Dayanand Shetty, Aisha Ahmed, Ankur Rathee, and Isha Talwar.
Netflix has not announced a release timeline for the second season, but said it is in development and will stream exclusively on the platform.
