The endowment will fund merit-cum-need scholarships for academically strong female students and will be administered under BITS Pilani’s existing scholarship framework with transparent selection criteria.
The scholarships will be awarded annually beginning in the 2026–27 academic year, the institute said.
BITS Pilani said Samdani has remained closely associated with the institute through continued involvement in student placement efforts, the Practice School program and management education initiatives.
In a statement, Samdani said, “We firmly believe that educating one student uplifts an entire family. We hope these scholarships will create a lasting impact, supporting not just individual aspirations but also strengthening families and shaping opportunities by removing financial constraints.”
