Chicago-based HDI Global Insurance Company (HGIC) USA has appointed Indian-American business executive Himadri Trivedi to the newly created role of business transformation lead.
In her role, Trivedi will bridge IT and business teams to drive enterprise-wide transformation, strengthen governance, and deliver value-based outcomes across the organization. She will focus on streamlining the IT landscape, enhancing critical capabilities, and improving operational effectiveness to create competitive advantages for HDI in the U.S. market, the company said in a statement.

“Transformation is essential to stay nimble and accelerate our growth in the US. In streamlining our IT landscape and working cross-functionally to elevate critical capabilities and improve our effectiveness to create competitive advantages, I am confident that Himadri will help position us for future success in the region,” said Kashif Syed, chief information and transformation officer (CITO).
Trivedi joins HDI from Ambridge Insurance, where she served as product manager, overseeing research, enhancement, and maintenance of claims management applications and data architecture. In her new role, she will collaborate closely with HGIC’s U.S. executive leadership to deliver on strategic initiatives.

Trivedi holds a bachelor of science in biotechnology from Sardar Patel University, India, an MBA in healthcare from the University of Northern Virginia, and a product management and strategy certificate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
