H-1B visa cap for FY 2026 reached, says USCIS

A large number of H-1B visas every year are being bagged by professionals from India.

The United States has received enough applications for the sought-after H-1B visas for foreign workers for the fiscal year 2026, a federal agency said on Mar.31.

As per a Congressional mandated cap, the United States can issue a maximum of 65,000 H-1B visas every year and another 20,000 to those who have obtained master's and higher degrees from the US.
