Hoardings from a US-based AI recruitment firm have surfaced outside IIT Delhi, claiming that the $100,000 fee to sponsor H-1B visas under President Donald Trump’s administration will not stop them from hiring Indians.

Trump's firm stance on the hefty fee on all new H-1B visas has been a major concern for many, as numerous Indian graduates every year relocate to the United States to pursue careers in technology, finance, and other lucrative fields.

Amid this situation, huge banners from an AI recruitment firm were prominently displayed outside IIT Delhi, with statements like, “We still sponsor H-1Bs” and “$100K isn’t going to stop us from hiring the best.”

These hoardings have surfaced just weeks ahead of the upcoming recruitment season.

Reports have suggested that there has been a significant decrease in applications from Indian students to US colleges since Trump resumed his presidency.

However, the increased H-1B fees are also impacting US employers, who have hired skilled labor from India for decades, especially in the technology sector.

Prominent tech figures, including Elon Musk and Jensen Huang of Nvidia, have publicly extended their support for H-1B workers.
