Indiaspora launched a new online survey aimed at understanding how members of the global Indian diaspora engage with India and how they can contribute to the country’s long-term goals.

Announcing the initiative on X, Indiaspora said India’s journey toward its future is shaped not only domestically but also by its diaspora worldwide.

“As India looks ahead to its long-term goals, we’re gathering insights from the global Indian diaspora to better understand how our community engages with India today, and how we can contribute to its next chapter,” the organization said.

Emphasizing the importance of participation, it added, “India is listening. Your insights will help shape how the diaspora is recognized, supported, and mobilized.”

The survey, titled Global Indian Engagement Survey: Getting a sense of your involvement with India, takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is open to members of the Indian diaspora across countries.

According to Indiaspora, responses will help ensure that diaspora perspectives are reflected in future engagement efforts.

Founded in 2012, Indiaspora is a US-based nonprofit organization that works to strengthen ties between India and its global diaspora. The organization focuses on areas such as civic engagement, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, innovation and social impact, and regularly convenes diaspora leaders through forums and research initiatives.

The launch of the survey comes amid growing attention to diaspora engagement globally. India has one of the largest diaspora populations in the world, spanning more than 200 countries, with overseas Indians playing a significant role in remittances, business linkages, knowledge exchange and cultural diplomacy.
