How this Boston graduate built a thriving professional network

Neeharika Munjal, a Boston University graduate who stepped into the professional world early, felt the familiar sting of isolation that many young professionals encounter.
Despite being in New England’s Boston area, which is a hub of academic excellence and career opportunities, she noticed a clear absence: no dedicated space for young Indian American professionals to connect, seek mentorship, or build community.
That realization prompted her to launch Young Indian Professionals of New England (YIPNE) in April 2022. What began as a simple idea has since grown into a dynamic network of more than 10,000 members.
