Indian-origin business leader Revathi Advaithi, the chief executive officer of Texas-based appliances, electrical and electronics manufacturing company Flex, described her immigrant journey as a “leap of faith” during Gold House’s recent gala.
Often dubbed the Met Gala of Asians, the event witnessed Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Charles Melton, Jet Li, Simu Liu, EJAE and many others receive prominent awards for their contributions to the entertainment industry.
Advaithi was presented with the Forbes Gold Honor Award. During her acceptance speech, she recalled graduating from an engineering college in India and moving to Oklahoma.

She shared, “Like many immigrant people, my journey was a leap of faith. It was rooted in the simple idea that access created opportunity.”
Advaithi and Olympian Eileen Gu were the only people from outside the entertainment industry recognized at the event.
Advaithi took over as the CEO of global manufacturing and supply chain company Flex in 2019. Prior to joining Flex, Advaithi held leadership positions at Eaton and Honeywell.
Apart from her role at Flex, she also serves as a director on the boards of Uber and Catalyst.org and is a member of the MIT Presidential CEO Advisory Board.
An alumna of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where she studied mechanical engineering, Advaithi also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona.
Reacting to the news of her selection for the award, Advaithi said on LinkedIn, “I’m grateful to be named to the 2026 #Gold100 and to be included alongside so many leaders I admire.”
She continued, “This recognition is meaningful to me as a member of this community and reflects the path that led me here, a path that began when manufacturing opened the door. It brings people, ideas and technology together to solve real problems, and it’s work I’ve loved since my early days on the shop floor.”
