Global actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas will receive the Global Vanguard Honor at the 2026 Gold Gala on May 9, recognizing her two-decade career spanning Indian and global entertainment industries.
Chopra will be honored for what organizers describe as a career spanning over two decades that has bridged the Asian Pacific and Western entertainment industries. The Global Vanguard Honor recognizes individuals shaping narratives across regions and industries, reflecting the gala’s broader push toward global cultural impact.

She joins a list of honorees that includes Jet Li, who will receive the Gold Legend Honor, and Simu Liu, who will be presented with the Gold Mogul Honor. Other names on the Gold 100 list include Charles Melton and Eileen Gu, among others recognized for contributions to global storytelling and culture.
The gala, themed “A New Gold World,” is positioned as a response to global divisions, with a focus on “shared progress and opportunity,” according to organizers. It has evolved into a major convening for Asian Pacific excellence while broadening into a global platform across industries.
With a body of work spanning Hindi cinema and Hollywood, Chopra has been featured on global influence lists including TIME 100 and Forbes’ most powerful women rankings.
Her recent projects include Heads of State and The Bluff, as she prepares for a return to Indian cinema with S. S. Rajamouli’s upcoming film Varanasi, co-starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is slated for release in 2027
Hosted by Gold House, the fifth edition of the gala will be at the Music Center in downtown Los Angeles. The event is expected to convene more than 650 leaders across entertainment, business, technology, and other sectors to celebrate the 2026 Gold 100 list.
