The White House on Aug.28 rejected a German media report that claimed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi refused to take multiple phone calls from US President Donald Trump in recent weeks.

“This is completely false. President Trump and President Modi have a respectful relationship, and teams from both the United States and India remain in close communication,” Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly told 5WH when asked about a report in this regard published by the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) on Aug.26.
