Trump administration says India trade talks making progress

The Trump administration Sept. 25 said it held “productive” discussions with India as the two countries pressed ahead with months-long trade negotiations, following a meeting in New York this week between Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and US Trade Representative Jameson Greer.

"The administration had productive talks with India, and progress towards an eventual trade deal continues to be made," a senior administration official told 5WH.
