Roopa Modha crowned Ms. Regal World

Modha was selected by a panel of industry professionals for her lifelong dedication to global service and her achievements.

Roopa Modha, an Indian-origin intellectual property law attorney, has been crowned the reigning Ms. Regal World 2025-2026 by the namesake international online pageant system based in the U.K. in a celebration of intellect, artistry, and humanitarian spirit.

Modha, who represented the USA, was selected by a panel of industry professionals for her lifelong dedication to global service and her achievements across the fields of law, media, and the arts.

Modha’s selection marked to be a milestone for the organization, as she brings an extensive resume of legal scholarship, artistic world records, and humanitarian work to the global stage.

Modha holds a Doctorate in Jurisprudence (JD) from the University of Connecticut: School of Law with certificates in Intellectual Property Law and Tax Law. She is also a TV host, author, lyricist, illustrator, journalist, and international pageant queen.

She excels in a diverse array of dance styles and has 38 successful world records in dance, including three Guinness World Records.

Modha has been a consistent advocate for women’s empowerment and education. Her list of accolades includes being recognized by President Barack Obama and the White House as a "Changemaker,” being named among one of the "40 Women Leaders to Watch" by CWEALF, and receiving the "Anokhi Advocate" award from Canada.

She has also received the Shatakshi Women's Award and was named "Wonder Woman," a title officially bestowed upon her by the Connecticut Senate.

Ms. Regal World 2025-2026 also shared her thoughts on winning this honor and said,

“I wear a crown on my head, but believe I must always lead with my heart. The true prize is the impact one can make in the world and the positive change one should be a catalyst for.”

Modha serves as an international ambassador for the U.K. Women of Heart Awards and is an ambassador for organizations like Girl Rising and the Indian Dreams Foundation.

Her advocacy extends to suicide prevention, anti-bullying, and bone marrow donation awareness. She was honored with the Presidential Gold Service Award for her focus on volunteering.  

Modha was honored as a Youth Ambassador for Vision Aid for three consecutive years and was also honored by GOPIO with the Youth Professional Achiever award.

In 2024, the Massachusetts UIANE organization honored her as a "Woman Achiever" for her multidisciplinary success.
