New England Hindu Temple to mark 20th anniversary with week-long celebrations
A historic first, the festival will unite three generations of the hereditary spiritual leaders of the Nar Narayan Dev Gadi in one gathering.

The ISSO Boston Shree Swaminarayan Hindu Temple, one of the largest Hindu temples in New England, is set to commemorate its 20th anniversary with a nine-day celebration.
Titled the Divya Dwidashabdi Mahotsav, the event runs from Aug. 15 to Aug. 23 at the Temple in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The milestone celebration comes as the temple undergoes exterior renovations inspired by the traditional architecture of India's grand Hindu temples, further enhancing its role as a prominent spiritual and cultural landmark in the region.

Organizers expect thousands of devotees and visitors from across the United States and Canada to participate in the festivities.
A defining feature of the anniversary celebrations will be the first-ever gathering of three generations of the hereditary spiritual leaders (Dharmakul) of the Nar Narayan Dev Gadi. Temple officials described the occasion as a once-in-a-generation event of profound religious and historical significance for the global Swaminarayan community.
