Terex Corporation, a Connecticut-based industrial equipment manufacturer, has appointed Srikanth Padmanabhan to the Company's Board of Directors. and will start working with the company from Dec. 1.
Padmanabhan joins Terex with close to four decades of experience. He is moving to Terex after retiring from global power solutions company, Cummins, where he was serving as the Executive Vice President and the President of Operations.

Padmanabhan holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Trichy, India and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.
David A. Sachs, Terex Non-Executive Chairman, expressed optimism about the company's future and Padmanabhan's contributions to it and said, "We look forward to Srikanth's valuable insights and perspectives, which will complement the experience of our current board."
He added, "Srikanth is an executive with a proven track record of driving significant business growth and value."
Padmanabhan also serves on the Board of Directors of Leggett & Platt Incorporated, a Missouri based Engineering Manufacturer company.
