LiverRight, the nation’s first virtual clinic dedicated to diagnosing and treating adult liver disease, has appointed Dr. Rashmee Patil to its Medical Advisory Board.
Dr. Patil is Chief Medical Officer of Pinnacle Clinical Research and founder of the South Texas Research Institute. She has served as principal investigator for more than 100 clinical studies in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and previously directed the Hepatology Department at the DHR Liver & Transplant Institute.
A specialist in hepatology and internal medicine, Dr. Patil completed her residency in internal medicine at New York University and her fellowship in hepatology and liver transplantation at Baylor College of Medicine.
She will advise LiverRight on clinical programs, strategic partnerships, and product development.
Brandon Tudor, CEO of LiverRight said the advisers will play “a pivotal role in enhancing LiverRight's ability to serve the millions of US adult patients living with HBV, HCV, PBC, MASLD/MASH and ALD/MetALD, along with those requiring post-transplant maintenance care".
Dr Patil said, "This national clinic is reinventing the medium to significantly bend the cost and outcomes curve for all stakeholders, especially patients."
