Supporters of New York City’s Democratic Mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani, on Oct.16 said that he convincingly won the first debate among the contenders in the city’s mayoral race.
Mamdani sparred with Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa, and independent candidate Andrew Cuomo on the live debate aired on NBC News, on issues ranging from affordability to Israel and Gaza, from immigration to transportation, and even parades in the city.
