The High Commission of India in Ottawa, Canada, has promoted the upcoming International Youth Conference, “India on the World Stage: Soft Power, Policy & Youth Diplomacy,” hosted by Nalanda University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India, from Mar. 26 to Mar. 28 at Rajgir, Bihar.
Nalanda University is an avant-garde University set up under the Indian Ministry of External Affairs to revive the glory of ancient Nalanda University and is supported by 17 countries of the East Asia Summit.

The seminar aims to bring together young scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and youth leaders, below 35 years of age, from across the world to engage in dialogue on themes such as youth diplomacy, cultural and educational diplomacy, climate advocacy and environmental diplomacy, heritage, conservation, and civilization dialogues, multilingual public diplomacy, and digital humanities.

Young scholars & practitioners are invited to submit extended abstracts by Feb. 24.
Abstract review and acceptance notification are slated for Feb. 28, and publication of conference proceedings/edited volume will take place in May and June.
All accepted extended abstracts will undergo peer review and, upon acceptance, will be published as the compendium. Acceptance of abstracts implies the work will be presented at the conference, and at least one author will attend the conference.
Accommodation and travel for participants whose papers will be accepted for the presentation will be supported by Nalanda University.
