Hari Reddy to lead GAF's product strategy and management

GAF, a New Jersey based roofing and waterproofing manufacturer, has promoted Hari Reddy as its Chief Product Officer. Reddy would be leading GAF's enterprise-wide product strategy and product management, aligning innovation, R&D, and commercialization.
Reddy joined GAF in 2021 with close to 25 years of experience accross sectors. Prior to this appointment, Hari served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at GAF, shaping the company’s technology and innovation roadmap.
Announcing his transition to the new role, Reddy said on LinkedIn, "I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Product Officer at GAF!"

Hari began his career at Dow Chemical, where he progressed through several leadership roles of increasing responsibility. These included serving as General Manager Asia Pacific for Dow Building Solutions and General Manager Global Insulation Products. He later joined Nalco/Ecolab as Global R&D Director, leading innovation for the eastern hemisphere region from Pune, India. Hari then relocated to Wisconsin and served as Vice President R&D for Bemis/Amcor North America, where he led flexible packaging innovation.
Hari holds a PhD in Materials Engineering and Science from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, India. He has also completed Executive Leadership in Strategy and Innovation at MIT Sloan School of Management, combining deep technical expertise with strong strategic leadership skills.
