Condemnations pour in after Sikh woman rape in UK

On Sept. 14, one individual was arrested in connection with the case, five days after the incident. No other arrests have been reported by the West Midlands Police since then.

Around 40 civil rights groups have come together in condemning the Sept. 9 rape and assault of a Sikh woman in the UK.

The Sikh woman, was allegedly raped in Oldbury, UK, by two White men, in what is said to be a racially motivated crime. The attack took place on Sept. 9 at around 8:30 a.m. at Tame Road, Oldbury. The victim also alleged that one of the assailants made racist remarks to her and reportedly asked her to "go back to her country".
