Subberwal brings over a decade of international culinary experience, including roles in the Middle East and a growing profile in the United States. At Raju Bhai Restaurant in Bahrain, he was promoted from sous chef to head chef, managing kitchen operations for up to 180 diners.

He later joined Farzi Café in Riyadh, a contemporary Indian restaurant, where he played a key role in kitchen planning and team leadership.

In addition to his operational experience, Subberwal has been recognized for his work in combining Indian and Continental cuisines through modern techniques. His culinary style focuses on reimagining time-honored recipes using innovative methods, with an emphasis on sustainability, fusion, and the elevation of local ingredients.

“I’m thrilled to be part of Andaaz Restaurant,” said Subberwal. “Cooking allows me to express myself and share my love for food with others. I look forward to working with the team and bringing our guests a truly memorable culinary journey.”

At Andaaz, he joins a team led by executive chef Parth Bharti, who was appointed in August 2024 and has introduced regionally inspired modern Indian dishes. In December 2024, executive pastry chef Mohammad Sameer also expanded the restaurant’s dessert menu with items such as Mango Saffron Kulfi Baklava and Coffee Rasmalai Tiramisu.

Andaaz Restaurant is located at 3059 NJ-27, Unit 103, Franklin Park, New Jersey. The restaurant seats 80 guests and also offers banquet and outdoor catering services.
