Archrock, a Houston -based natural gas compression services provider, has appointed Indian-American business executive Mohit Singh as senior vice president and chief financial officer. He succeeds Douglas S. Aron, who had previously announced his retirement from the company.
Singh has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, investment banking, and corporate finance, and will bring extensive leadership and financial expertise to his new role.

Prior to joining Archrock, Singh served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Chesapeake Energy Corporation from 2021 until its merger with Southwestern Energy Company in 2024, which resulted in the formation of Expand Energy Corporation. He continued as CFO of the combined company until August 2025.
Earlier in his career, Singh held several senior leadership roles at BPX Energy, BP’s U.S. onshore subsidiary, where he oversaw mergers and acquisitions, business development, exploration and operations. He also worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and RBC Capital Markets and began his professional career with Shell Exploration & Production Company.
Archrock president and chief executive officer Brad Childers said Singh’s extensive experience in public companies and the energy sector would support the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Singh holds a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of Houston, an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
