India Chambers USA has appointed NutrifyToday co-founder Anand Swaroop as country representative (USA) and head of its newly launched desk in Somerset, New Jersey.
The India Chambers USA Desk will serve as an industry interface to accelerate collaboration between India and the United States in the nutraceutical and preventive health sectors.
Located at NutrifyToday’s New Jersey office, it will provide an open venue for leaders from both countries to negotiate partnerships, run technical workstreams, and align on regulatory requirements.
Planned initiatives include joint research programs on responsible nutrition, a digital dashboard mapping India’s certified organic acreage for U.S. buyers, and harmonization of supplier practices with U.S. quality standards. The desk will also focus on investment facilitation, startup exchanges, and standardization of Ayurvedic polyherbal formulations to meet global expectations.

Swaroop, recognized for his contributions to science-led nutraceutical development in the United States, said the desk aims to shift the focus from raw material exports to outcome-driven preventive health solutions supported by clinical evidence and compliance.
Over the next two years, expected milestones include supplier–brand alliances, a bi-national startup cohort, and the release of a land bank portal for U.S. buyers.
The initiative marks a step toward deeper Indo-U.S. engagement in the nutraceutical industry, combining India’s biodiversity and research expertise with the United States’ market scale and clinical validation.
