Ampcus appoints Prashant Patel as vice president
Patel joins the consulting firm with more than 24 years of leadership experience in IT consulting and business management.

Virginia-based global business and technology consulting firm Ampcus has appointed Indian-origin engineer Prashant Patel as vice president and client partner.
In his new role, Patel will work to strengthen the company’s banking, financial services and insurance practice. He is also tasked with accelerating Ampcus’ growth across the East Coast.
Patel joins the consulting firm with more than 24 years of leadership experience in IT consulting and business management.

Ampcus said Patel brings deep expertise in driving enterprise transformation for Fortune 500 organizations, including JPMorgan Chase, Johnson Controls and Bloomberg. Patel has a proven track record in portfolio growth and in managing complex global delivery models across offshore and nearshore environments.
Prior to joining Ampcus, Patel held senior business development and leadership roles at Cognizant, MAS Global Consulting and PowerSoft Consulting. He will focus on driving strategic client partnerships and expanding Ampcus’ BFSI footprint through a hands-on, collaborative approach.
Welcoming Patel to the company, Salil Sankaran, group president of Ampcus, said in a statement, “We’re excited to welcome Prashant to Ampcus.”
He added, “He brings the leadership, client focus and strategic insight that define our BFSI practice. As we expand our East Coast presence, his experience navigating RFP and RFI processes and scaling large portfolios will be instrumental in delivering meaningful outcomes for our clients.”
Patel expressed gratitude over his appointment and said, “I’ve spent much of my career working alongside the C-suite to build trust, unlock growth and lead transformation.”
