US Ambassador to Turkey Thomas Joseph Barrack Jr., a close ally of President Donald Trump, said on Sept. 25 that India should be central to efforts to pressure Russia over its invasion of Ukraine, calling the South Asian nation “the future” and a critical US partner.
“India has got to be one of our greatest allies and is the future,” Barrack told reporters outside the White House.
