Academic dialogue on Rishihood University held in Los Angeles
The university, in Sonipat, India, was founded on the principles of Dnyan, Vidnyan & Pradnya (Knowledge, Science, Wisdom) and is rooted in dharmic Rishi parampara.

The American Hindu Federation (AHF) partnered with the Dharma Civilization Foundation (DCF) to celebrate, on April 25, in Los Angeles, the ideals upon which Rishihood University was established.
The university, in Sonipat, India, was founded on the principles of Dnyan, Vidnyan & Pradnya (Knowledge, Science, Wisdom) and is rooted in dharmic Rishi parampara.
Formally inaugurated in 2021, Rishihood University offers full-time residential degree programs for undergraduate students and a Ph.D. track for further learning, along with courses in engineering and Ph.D. programs.

Founded by IITian co-founders Vice-Chancellor Shobhit Mathur and CEO Sahil Aggarwal, the university is run under the leadership of Chancellor Suresh Prabhu, a former member of the Indian Parliament and former minister of chemicals and fertilizers.
The event witnessed attendance from members of AHF and DCF, along with professors and community leaders from Southern California, and was spearheaded by Radhika Lunawat, associate professor of accounting and economics at the Paul Merage School of Business, University of California.
The event was also attended by Ambassador Dr. Srinivasa K. J., the first consul general of the recently established Indian mission in Los Angeles.
The event featured discussions about the vision and mission of Rishihood University and talks from university executives Dr. Shobhit Mathur and Sahil Aggarwal.
Representatives of the university highlighted their innovative educational model that emphasizes STEM disciplines while honoring India’s ancient spiritual dharmic wisdom.
The event also included a scholarly dialogue featuring professors Vipin Chaturvedi, Rama Kumar, Pravin Sinha, Charu Sinha, Pradip K. Shukla, Yatri Shukla, Manoj Shah and Geeta Sikand.
The organizers noted that the “gathering has opened up exciting pathways for collaboration between the academic community and Rishihood University, paving the way for future endeavors.”
