Rishihood University hosted a high-level mental health roundtable at the MIT Samberg Conference Center to advance the global mission of its newly established Mahesh Navani School of Brain, Body, and Behavior (MaNaS).
The initiative marks India’s first endowed interdisciplinary school focused on improving mental well-being through neuroscience, behavioral science, contemplative traditions, and technology.
The roundtable brought together more than 20 global experts, including researchers, scientists, and innovators from Harvard Medical School, Northeastern University, the University of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts General Hospital, and MIT, along with healthcare entrepreneurs from Boston’s innovation ecosystem.

The discussions centered on adolescent mental health, the integration of contemplative practices with modern brain science, and the creation of new research and intervention models to promote global well-being.
A white paper on adolescent mental health was released during the event, outlining MaNaS’s focus on addressing youth mental health challenges—a key area of concern worldwide.
“Mental well-being is the invisible crisis of our generation,” said Sahil Aggarwal, co-founder and CEO of Rishihood University. “If we must lead the world into consciousness, innovation, and youth transformation, we must build world-class institutions like MaNaS that integrate science, systems, and spirit.”
The session was anchored by Ambika Bajpayee of Northeastern University, a Rishihood co-founder, and featured insights from leading voices including Sara Lazar, Sat Bir Khalsa, Moitreyee Sinha, and Yogesh Rathi.
Founders Mahesh Navani, COO of eClinicalWorks, and Vivek Sharma, executive chairman of Cohance Lifesciences, shared their long-term vision for MaNaS and underscored India’s role in pioneering mental well-being innovation at a global scale.
“This initiative brings together the best of Eastern wisdom and Western science to address one of humanity’s most urgent health challenges,” Navani said during the session.
The event highlighted Rishihood University’s expanding global footprint in academic and philanthropic collaboration, particularly in Boston, a leading global hub for health innovation and higher education.
The Mahesh Navani School of Brain, Body, and Behavior is now inviting research collaborations, faculty partnerships, and global alliances to accelerate transformative mental health solutions from India to the world.
