The elections coincided with NVTC's unveiling of a new three-year strategic plan aimed at positioning Northern Virginia as a leader in the next wave of technological innovation, driven by advances in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud and edge computing, robotics, mobility, space technologies, and other emerging sectors.
"Innovation doesn't stand still—and neither does NVTC," Jennifer Taylor, president and CEO of NVTC, said in a statement. "Our ambitious strategic plan positions NVTC for its next chapter of impact and reinforces our commitment to helping Northern Virginia lead in this next era of innovation. We've done it before, and we will again."
The council said its refreshed mission is to convene and champion the region's technology community, advance innovation, build a future-ready workforce, and drive lasting economic and societal impact.
Over the next three years, the organization will focus on strengthening industry networks, advocating for the technology sector, developing talent, and expanding member engagement.
The Class of 2029 directors will help oversee implementation of these strategic priorities alongside NVTC's leadership team and board officers.
