Dr. Neha Chaudhary made CMO of mental healthcare firm

Headway, a New York based mental healthcare company, appointed Dr. Neha Chaudhary as its Chief Medical Officer on Aug. 26.

Dr. Chaudhary is a double board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. She maintains an active clinical practice and brings proven leadership in scaling digital mental health solutions.

Andrew Adams, Founder and CEO of Headway, highlighted her intersectional skills that make her an ideal candidate for the role and said in a statement, "Dr. Neha Chaudhary's hire reflects our commitment to pairing access with clinical excellence."

Prior to joining Headway, she served as the Chief Medical Officer at Modern Health. She also co-founded the Stanford Lab for Mental Health Innovation apart from playing advisory roles in the Kevin Love Fund and the Made of Millions Foundation.

Headway noted in a statement, "Her entrepreneurial approach and ability to turn complex research into actionable insights have made her a sought-after advisor to digital health and technology companies."

A Harvard Medical School alumna, Dr. Chaudhary completed her MD (Doctor of Medicine) from the UT Southwestern Medical Center and obtained her Bachelor's degree from Schreyer Honors College, Pennsylvania State University.

Highlighting the significant boom created in the industry with the integration of healthcare and technology, she said, "Mental health care is experiencing a once-in-a-generation opportunity to combine scale with scientific rigor."
