Danville to host Indian-American art exhibition

The exhibition will kick-off with a public reception on Jan. 29, offering guests the opportunity to meet the artists.

The Indian American Artists Association (IAAA) is organizing an exhibition featuring  artwork by a diverse range of artists of Indian origin, from Jan. 29 to Mar. 27, in Danville, California.

Titled, 'One Voice: Many Visions,' the exhibition will showcase works inspired by the colors and textures of India, ancient scriptures, modern life, and both Indian and Indian-American identity. It will highlight the artist's  experience of living between cultures while exploring themes like culture and heritage.

Held at the The Village Theatre Art Gallery, the exhibition will kick-off with a public reception on Jan. 29, offering guests the opportunity to meet the artists and experience the collection of art works.

The event will also feature a series of exhibition-related workshops as well as the launch of the Town’s first permanent public art exhibition, Acorns of the Old Oak.
