BD names Indian-origin executive Sandeep Arora EVP

New Jersey-based medical equipment manufacturing company BD has appointed Indian-origin executive Sandeep Arora as its new executive vice president for global business solutions.

In his new role, Arora hopes to build on the established foundation and deliver a world-class performance and delivery platform that serves as a value-accretive and strategic asset for the enterprise.

Armed with close to three decades of industry experience, Arora promises to bring “deep commitment, resilience, and hard work” to his new role. Before joining BD, he was the head of global business services at The Clorox Company.

He has also served as a corporate officer for Sysco Business Services at Sysco, senior vice president of transformation and shared services at XPO Logistics, and global operations and capabilities lead at Mondelēz International, among numerous other roles.

Talking about his appointment, Arora said on LinkedIn, “BD’s purpose of advancing the world of health inspires me, and I am energized by the team’s commitment to operational excellence, scalable delivery, and measurable impact. I am eager to collaborate across the organization to accelerate value and drive sustainable outcomes.”

Arora also spotlighted his stint at Clorox and remarked, “Although my time at Clorox was brief, it was highly impactful. We successfully built a profitable GBS capability from the ground up, which is already generating significant value for Clorox. I am confident that the expert GBS team there will continue to advance the value journey and raise the bar.”

Arora holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and law from Utkal University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He is also a certified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
